Given the trends in modern science, with the increasing influence of computer science and information and communication technologies, the mission of the Institute will be precisely this connection. The multidisciplinary approach to the research will be one of the guidelines for development so that the Institute will be able to follow the development of modern science.
The scientific research of the Institute is oriented towards fundamental and applied research through the program of basic research and directed basic research, the program of research in the field of technological development, and the program of knowledge and technology transfer and encouraging the application of scientific research results. The establishment of the Institute will significantly improve opportunities for multidisciplinary research.
